I disabled Adobe Reader and somehow it fixed my annoying question marks. Under Adobe Systems, I had both Adobe Reader and Adobe PDF enabled. When you click "Open" it causes the users default PDF viewer (usually Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat) to display the PDF instead.No more nasty Adobe popup with nothing in it but Acrobat 9.0 is not Windows 7 compatible. My problem ended up being fixed after they released an update for Adobe Reader 9. Just an "open" button. Also, it must have something to do with Adobe Reader 9 not having enough time to stack the PDF. If that does not resolve the issue, also uncheck the box that states Display PDF in browser.
After installing the stupid *** getplusplus thing(just to get flash) which then installed flash, I could no longer view the pdf's.In fact, what initially happened was I tried to load a Any document that is on the computer or a shared drive opens fine.
